Shocktober 2025 FAQs

Information about our annual Halloween sale, this year celebrating the 13 years of Scream Factory.

 

When does the sale start and end?

Members will receive early access to the sale beginning at 12:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025; the sale opens to everyone else at 1:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

The sale ends at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

 

What’s this I’m hearing about a gift?

If your cart value during the sale exceeds $100.00 (USD), you will receive an EXCLUSIVE Scream Factory Fan Club enamel pin (while supplies last; quantity is limited).

If your cart value during the sale exceeds $150.00 (USD), you can choose between the exclusive Scream Factory Fan Club enamel pin, or an EXCLUSIVE Scream Factory tote bag (while supplies last; quantity is limited).

[Please note: spending $200 (USD) in a single order will not allot you two enamel pins; two separate $100 (USD) orders will need to be made.]

 

I hit the $150.00 threshold in my cart, why don't I see my gift?

Depending on your internet browser, you may need to close out of the cart to see the offer pop-up which allows you to select between the enamel pin or tote bag.

 

What's the discount in the sale this year?

The average discount this year is 49% off MSRP – but titles are priced individually, with discounts ranging from 22% off to 87% off the MSRP!

 

What counts as a qualifying sale item?

Only items listed on the Shocktober sale page (link) will qualify for the discount (over 540 Scream Factory releases will be on sale).

Please note that offers will only be available while supplies last. Some titles may be removed from the Shocktober sale page before the end of the sale if our inventory allotment for the sale is depleted.

(Also note that there may be some Blu-ray versions of movies on sale this year, which have associated 4K UHD/Blu-ray versions that will not be on sale.)

 

Why didn’t I get the sale price on something that was on sale?

If an item in your cart sells out before you complete checkout, it will no longer be available at the sale price. If this happens, the item may disappear from your cart, or the price may change before checkout is completed. In other words, having an item in your cart does not guarantee that you will receive the sale price—your selections will only be guaranteed upon completion of checkout.

 

What deals are there on shipping?

Orders over $75.00 (USD) qualify for free standard shipping. Free and reduced shipping offers apply to US orders only (Canadian orders pay standard shipping rates).

 

When will my order ship?

Depending on the number of orders received during the sale, it may take our warehouse several weeks to fulfill all orders that have been placed. We’ll have a better estimate regarding shipping times once the sale has concluded and we have every order in our system. Once the sale has concluded, we will send regular email updates regarding order fulfilment until we have shipped every sale order. Please note that we are hiring extra staff and will be working overtime to get orders shipped as quickly as possible this year.

Due to item availability, your order may ship from multiple warehouses in multiple packages. You will receive a separate tracking number via email for each package that ships to you.

 

Can I cancel an order placed in the sale?

Once your order is sent to the warehouse for processing, we may not be able to cancel it. However, please email us at info@shoutfactory.com and we will do our best to accommodate any cancellation requests.

 

How will my order ship?

For orders shipping in the United States, please note that your order may ship via media mail or via FedEx Ground (how it ultimately ships will depend on the weight of the package and your shipping address).

 

Can I use a coupon in the sale?

No — the Shocktober sale is not combinable with any other offers, including coupons for free shipping or dollars off your order. If you enter a coupon at checkout, it may void the Shocktober promotional offer.

 

Will the title I am ordering have a slipcover, lithograph, and/or a poster?

Titles in this sale are not guaranteed to ship with slipcovers (o-cards), lithographs, or posters. We expect to run out of several exclusive items during the run of the sale and suggest ordering early if you want to receive one of those items.

 

What currency are offers in?

All offers are in U.S. dollars. To see offers in Canadian dollars, click the icon at the top right of your screen on desktop and select “Canada (CAD $)” from the resultant drop-down menu.

 

What contests are being offered this year?
