In the World Series, the Astros faced Bryce Harper and the Philadelphia Phillies.™ In Game 1, the Phillies overcame a five-run deficit to win in 10 innings, but in Game 2, the Astros scored five runs again and held on for the win. The series shifted to Philadelphia all square, where the Phillies exploded for five home runs in a Game 3 win. Undeterred, the Astros pitchers answered back throwing the second no-hitter, and first combined no-hitter, in World Series history. In a tightly contested Game 5, the Astros battled, and Justin Verlander secured his first career Fall Classic win. The series went back to Minute Maid Park™ where Yordan Alvarez hit a three-run, 450-foot rocket in Game 6 to give the Astros the lead, which was secured by the bullpen and the party began!
