2014 was great and all, but it is so last year. We're already thinking about nothing but 2015 here at the Shout! Factory offices, and boy do we have some great stuff coming up. Here's a little preview of just a few highlights from what we'll be bringing you in the coming months.
Kurt Russell Escapes
We've released our fair share of well-loved movies, but Escape From New York ranks up there with the most popular films we've ever put out. There's a rabid fanbase for this John Carpenter classic starring Kurt Russell as Snake Plissken, a lone warrior battling his way out of a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, and never was that more evident than when we revealed the cover art for our Collector's Edition Blu-ray, which went crazy on social media. The best part? We created a brand-new, 2K high definition scan, and it will be packed with extras (still in progress).
You're excited for this release, and we're excited as well. Because of that, we're shipping it two weeks early and giving away a free poster (while supplies last).
Full-Length Family Movies
It can be hard to find quality films that are fun for the whole family, but rather than letting your kids watch Escape From New York (not recommended), why not pick up one of the many feature-length, kid-friendly movies we're releasing in the near future? From the penguin tale Jasper to the latest action-packed Slugterra movie to the 30th Anniversary Edition of My Little Pony: The Movie (featuring the voice talents of Danny DeVito, Cloris Leachman and more), there's a little something for everyone.

There are many things one can say about Vampire's Kiss, but if there's one guarantee we can make, it's that you will never forget this movie. It features Nicolas Cage in possibly his most memorable performance of all time, and that's saying something considering he's won an Academy Award. With The Gerry Anderson Collection, we're bringing you beloved classic children's programming featuring the marionette action stars of yesteryear that would eventually inspire South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone to make the indelible (and decidedly less family-friendly) Team America: World Police.

Proto-Power Rangers
Power Rangers fans have been clamoring for a release of the original Japanese series that started it all: Super Sentai. We're finally releasing the complete Zyuranger series in February, where you can see the origin of your favorite teenagers with attitude.
Maude Will Get You For That
A lot of people asked us if it would be possible to release a Complete Series set of the popular All In The Family spin-off Maude. A lot of people.
So we put our magical classic TV superpowers to work and came through with an answer: Yes. It is most definitely possible.

Remastered Bean
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a Mr. Bean facial expression is worth about five thousand.
Now that I've written five thousand words about Mr. Bean, I feel like you should know we're releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition of The Whole Bean, remastered and featuring extra footage among other bonus features. It's coming out in March.
